I need some help here. I am to go to Hawaii for my work there and I need some good tips about the transportation in there. If you can share here any good tips and suggestions regarding my concern then that would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking for some good links to where I can research more about this matter. Thanks a lot and good day to all.

Oh you got the right choice for travelling around Hawaii. Well it isn't that difficult to travel in Hawaii. If you are new in the place, I think it will be safer to use a taxi so they can directly drop you to the place you want. If you want to use public transit or train you can do so. Anyway, the fare isn't very expensive there. Good day.

Making use of green energy or those forms of energy that are renewable and don't emit much carbon is the only way to go if we want to save the environment and Mother Earth from destruction. All that carbon emissions that we make from our daily living and from the use of non-renewable forms of energy continue to worsen global warming.

It may be more difficult and would take a lot of sacrifices to go green but it's sure worth all our efforts.

Thank author of this post/comment"Is it really green?"

Is "green energy" really green? Is it really renewable?

My father used to always say that energy is never used, its form is only converted.

ie: energy in the form of gasoline when used in a car is transformed into energy in the form of heat and movement.

ie: electricity when used is always transformed into energy in the form of heat.

I think you will aways find that when energy is used (ie: transformed), "heat energy" always results. So, even when you use "green energy" you are still producing "heat energy". What will the world do with the abundance of heat energy (except complain about global warming)?

Can someone explain where electricity comes from? Yes, you can explain the process of generating it. But you can't explain what is actually being transformed into electricity. What will you do when THAT runs out and there is nothing left to transform into electricity?

Yes, you are right. Hawaii is really a great tropical place and traveling there shouldn't be a problem at all. There are many modes of public transportation that you can take advantage of all the time. If you want to do it more private, you can have the rent a car services or you can also take the cab. Also, fare isn't really that much. I am very sure that you will enjoy your stay there.

Thanks for sharing that in here. I have been thinking of having a trip in there and the transportation in Hawaii somehow concerns me a lot. I want to know the ways to get around the place and so your posts is a lot of help. It would be a lot of help to hear from all of you guys. Thanks a lot and have a great day ahead to all.

Hi there. We all know how beautiful Hawaii is and I am sure to have lots of great time once I get in there. I am very much excited with our upcoming trip in the said place and it would be great to hear some good tips from all of you guys as to the ways to get around in there. Hope to hear from all of you soon. Thanks.

Hawaii is exotically beautiful and many people had fallen for its charm. Good choice if you plan to travel in Hawaii because there are many beautiful destinations that you can visit there. It would really be an exciting trip.

I agree with you Marynor, you can ride a taxi so that you can go directly to your destination. Other than that, there are also a lot of rental cars in the place so don't bother too much. Good luck to your trip and enjoy Hawaii!

Transportation is really a very important factor in spending time in a different place. If you are into a different kind of adventure, you are really best fit for Hawaii with I guess one of the countries who had the best beaches in the world. Just experience the fun and enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the place and believe me you will never be lost. I hope I could go visit the place.

We are filled with so much air pollution today because of smoke belching or the pollution given off by the various means of transportation. Hence I think we have to learn to create some alternatives like producing energy which is not so harmful to the environment.

Hawaii is also a big place where most tourists go. The Department of Energy assures that safety of people driving in any place in Hawaii.

It is really alarming to know that cost of living there in Hawaii is quite expensive rather that in other state. Paying that much expense to the electric current they have is really a great load for the people in that place. It is a great load for many people living there. I hope, the government will really have that sensitivity in knowing the remedies they have regarding this matter.

I am planning to live in Hawaii and upon hearing the news of the high electric bill people have to pay, it made me think twice. I have been planning the migration for almost a year already, the expenses and the cost of living there. I have many relatives there and it will be a nice deal if people would share to me any info about that area. Many tourists would love to go there

Hawaii is indeed a beautiful place according to my research. I have never been there yet but we are actually planning to go and visit this state and enjoy together with some friends. I have heard that this place is really awesome and there are a lot of beaches in this island. I can't wait anymore. I really want to explore the place together with my buddies. This sounds like so much fun!

I have never been in Hawaii and I am really not that familiar with the expense they have regarding the payments they have which is according to some surveys ranks first as the most highest payed state with regards to the energy consumption they have. I would like to know much about that place and the things that I will be expecting as a tourist when I arrive there .

It's sad that the cost of energy consumption in Hawaii is higher than other places. My husband has some relatives in Hawaii and it's a good thing that they are able to cope with the energy prices. Well, they are not the only ones who have to pay the price for a high electricity cost. There are many other places around the world which depends on the highly priced petroleum for their energy production.

Hawaii is such a lovely place. No wonder why lots of people are getting more and more interested in having a trip in there. I must say that I do love the place as well and so it would be great for me to find out more about the way and means to move around the place. Thanks a lot and have a great day ahead to all of you.

The energy survey conducted simply showed how the people of Hawaii make use of the petroleum especially the transportation sectors. This is already awareness for the Department of Energy in Hawaii to at least learn to conserve energy because not all the time they have enough one to use for their personal purposes. They have to lessen the cost of electricity then. Thank you for sharing the post. Great day to all.

I would love to know about the transportation, the public mode of transportation in Hawaii. I am actually thinking of having a trip in there and so finding out more about the ways to move around the place had been my concern. It would really be a lot of help to hear from all of you guys with regards to my concern. Any useful links would be great as well.

One of the concerns people do research upon is the transportation in the destinations that they do visit. And with Hawaii, it is much better to look for the best ways to look around and to really find the best ways to travel from places.

Transportation in Hawaii is the very reason why I do look for information on forums like this one. I'd appreciate all of your help here.

To comment on jerrel's question a little while back, what will happen with all the heat energy...

the earth is designed to let go of the excess heat energy which is created through the natural processes of burning, living, etc..

The only problem which has occurred in recent years is filling the atmosphere with too many large particles from gas emissions, factory emissions etc, which reflect the heat back towards the earth instead of allowing it to dissipate through the atmosphere into outer space.
