| I really appreciate those organizations and group which give extra effort just to develop agriculture. Kentucky agriculture simply shows that the people from Kentucky pay great attention for the development of agriculture. We basically have a lot of natural resources. We should learn how to grow these. Anyway, we are still the ones who can benefit from this. Congratulations to the Kentucky agriculture. I look forward to visiting the place soon. |
| The Kentucky National Guard deserves this highest distinction from the organizers of the Kentucky Women in Agriculture Award. They exerted tremendous effort to uplift the lives and stature of women in Kentucky by creating a sustainable source of livelihood for the women in Afghanistan. Their project is really commendable because they even reached out to people beyond their territory. It was really a noble thing to do for the Kentucky National Guard. May they motivate other organizations to come up with equally noble projects for others. |
| I personally believe in the potential of agriculture. I think if the proper authority would allocate enough budget and attention to these sector then there would be enough work to be produced for people. Think of those countries who are into agriculture, they are really going great and are continuously growing. | I believe the women of Afghanistan were truly grateful for what the Kentucky Army National Guard did for them. And the Laura Clay award for excellence was truly a deserved recognition for them for a job well done in Afghanistan. May there be more people like them who are willing to extend their help where it is needed. |

| Agriculture plays a very important role in the lives of many people. I salute the farmers who are very industrious in maintaining a healthy agriculture. Hence, I still encourage them to grow organic produce to provide safe and nutritious food for many people. | It is nice to hear that people in this area have great respect to women especially in the field of agriculture. Well, there are certain fields that many women are more competitive rather than men. In the past, many would say that women are treated inferior to men which is really an unfair matter in the woman's side to be treated like that. But now, no underestimation is found . |

| What does the National Guard have anything to do with agriculture? What exactly are they doing in Afghanistan, anyway, to earn this award? I find all this very strange. Not only the award, that is expected enough, but the fact that there is a National Guard presence in Afghanistan in the first place, as I believe National Guard members were never meant to be sent abroad. Doesn't that go against their purpose? |
| In Kentucky, I have observed that their agricultural sector is given that very much importance. Well, of course, that's the right thing to do. We all know how this sector is very important especially in providing the basic commodity to the people.
