| I am delighted to know that Maryland supports tourism in the state. As we all know, tourism brings great prosperity to a particular country. In addition to that, medical tourism is also important which add to the success of promoting tourism. In fact, many foreigners are really interested to travel in Maryland, because they have assurance of safety and enjoyment there. Is it a good sign of a big success? |

| Tourism generates a lot of money in today's world. The margins are good on tourist activities and customers, when on vacation, are in a spending mood and don't mind paying exhorbanant prices. This leads to more tax revenue which leads to more public spenditure which then leads to more investment in infrastructure which finally leads to increased tourism. Kind of an endless cycle really. |

| All I can say is that not all are successful in promoting medical tourism. But Maryland sure did a well job in attracting tourists wanting to avail such kind of services.
