| There are a lot of spiritual people who honor the different representation of their devotion. One of this is the Dari Rulai Temple. I believe many people visit here to show their faithfulness. As a religious leader, it is a great task to be of a good role model to the rest of the people. But, I take it as my way to our Creator and I believe I'm on the right path. |
| That is true. Being a religious leader makes you responsible with your people's spirituality. You have to be a good model to all. I have seen some religious leaders that are not that good when it comes to portraying their real role as a spiritual adviser and leader. So to all, beware and try to focus on your connection to God and not with the religion. Good day to all. |
| I couldn't agree more with both of you. Being a religious leader is one of the most difficult tasks in the world. You have to lead your people to spirituality and motivate them to have enough faith in your own God. To do that, you need to be a good role model. Your integrity should be untainted and you have to exhibit all the values that people from your religion should have. |
| I think that there are so many ways in order to become a religious leader. Being a religious leader you have to possess certain qualities that a true leader should have. I know that this is really a challenging task because you need to keep your integrity clean and you should remain respectable in the eyes of many people. Anyway, since this is a challenging job, I hope that many people will accept the challenge. |
| I agree with those who have posted a reply in here. Spiritual leaders play an important role in spiritual community. It is them on whom people look up to for spiritual guidance.I go with Bess that there are some people who portray themselves a as the leaders but they are first one to violate all the rules. I have personally witnesses one such in my state.It doesn't mean everybody is same. |
| Spiritual leaders are there to enlighten us and show us the right path but they should never be considered as God or a Son of God. I have seen a couple of protestant churches that does everything wrong. Some spiritual leaders even claims that they are Jesus incarnate which just blows me away. I even stand against the Catholic priests for letting their followers call them "father" when the Holy Bible says that no man should be called father than me (God). |
| That is true. We only have one father, which is our almighty God. I think people should wake up and realize that those religious groups are just there for plain business. I think what people need is the connection and relationship with God. I think as long as you are doing good things to yourself and to others and you know you are building a good relationship with God, then you are doing well than those who goes to church and some other forms of religious activities. |
| Spiritual leaders are responsible for the strong faith of their followers. They perform spiritual healing and meditation that give the people hopes to solve their problems. They also have temple prayer service that give believers the opportunity to speak personally to God. But believers should also take into consideration that not all spiritual activities are true, they should be keen in trusting the right people. However, I think the people should also realize that they make their own destiny. We should not depend on spiritual activities alone; we should also make necessary actions to solve our undertaking. |
| Hi there! People in the different kinds of ritual they do in honoring their religion. Some go on the festivals and make sacrifices and gifts most especially for the saint they know. | We all have different point of view to share about strengthening the spiritual aspect of our lives. We have our own ways of how to manifest our faith as well. But despite the differences of our beliefs we are still one. We are brother and sisters. We may use different symbols but the only constant is our ultimate faith. I am glad to be in my own religion and to grow my spirit of love to my Almighty Creator. |
| A lot of people need spiritual guidance to help them lead the right path. We always face problems and challenges. That is why I think that we should also have a spiritual guidance that can help clear the thoughts that bother us and can give a peace in mind. | In every challenge that we encounter in life it is relieving when we keep our faith. No reason to give up because the Almighty Creator is there to help us in every obstacle in life. I think joining ministry and religious organization will help a person to strengthen his faith and the spiritual aspect of his life. I myself firmly believe that a person with a strong spirit has all the reasons to survive. |
| I do not doubt that there is a need to have the spiritual guidance of someone when it comes to faith and spirituality. But as the others have said that we must take heed because not everyone who claims to be a spiritual leader is after the truth. Some are just after something that is more for personal gain. If we are real seekers of the truth, I believe that God is able to lead us to the truth. As is said, seek him and you will find him if you seek him with all your heart. |
| Each and every one of us has his own way how to strengthen our faith and spiritual aspects in life. I am convinced that prayer and faith keep the spirit stronger. We should learn to turn to God not only at time of difficulty but in every journey of our lives. I am pleased with every blessing I received and for a fruitful life. I owe to God everything. |
| in answer to chin chin, sometimes a spiritual leader can help inspire someone to put more faith in God or give ideas of how to live a more spiritually healthy life. There's nothing like an example to bring a spiritual principle to life. That's kind of like what Jesus did. He was the example of God to us of how to live life on earth God's way. Following His example is much easier than just following what he said. |
| In response to all that was said in this forum, I think that we might be able to agree with Chesterton, when he said that all peoples from the beginning of time have been looking for something to put their faith in, even agnostics who profess to believe in nothing, are looking for something. Their defining it as agnosticism just proves again that they think putting their faith in something is important, they just haven't found it yet because they prefer to believe in something they have incontrovertible proof of. |
| Joining in some religious groups will somehow motivate you to strengthen your faith toward the Almighty person you adore. It is very important to have acceptance of your weaknesses and strengths because not all the time that you are successful. Learn to handle ups and downs through your strong spirit and belief. If it seems like you can't handle it anymore. Ask help. Don't be shy. Don't hesitate. Great day. |
| I don't deny the fact that there are times when I feel like I am lost because of the hardships I encounter in life. It is just so hard to deal with it especially where there's no one I could lean on. I tend to pray by myself and strengthen my faith to the Almighty creator. I did it, and I realized that putting yourself in silence gives you peace of mind. |
| Spiritual devotion is not knew to us. People from different countries have their own unique way in worshiping their God's images and this fact is accepted in the society. A lot of people now are joining different religious gift but I believe that faith matters on how you righteously live with God's wisdom and doing all His wills. |
| Even though I do not personally believe in this particular faith, I do encourage others who are seeking for the spiritual in their lives, who have not yet found a faith, if they are trying this and find peace, or are just finding it interesting for now, I will encourage them. It is better to seek for faith in anything than to not seek for it at all and ignore the search. |
| I agree, let us all embrace each other regardless of religious orientation or faith. After all, religion is more a way of life than a faith. Faith is what is inside you, and who can tell if what a person believes truly deep inside is wrong or not? All you get hints of are the fruits of that persons faith manifested in the actions they do to others around them. |
