Texas is now a place for opportunities, personally speaking. At the moment I have a job opportunity in there and would be looking forward for having a good job in there. By the way, since I am to move there for this upcoming work, I plan to move there. By the way, would you mind sharing here any good information as to the current cost of living in the said country.

The three major problems which most of the nations face unemployment, fall in economy plus high cost of living. Texas- Houston being an exception which is the delivering the opposite effect with its job opportunities with growth in each year, it climbing economy, plus low cost of living. I mean who wont want to work in such a place.

Texas, as one of the biggest states in the USA, houses the best opportunities for both businessmen and budding entrepreneurs. the bigger cities such as New York or Los Angeles may pose as the best option for big income-generating jobs but compared to that offered by Texas, the cost of living won't hurt your pockets too much because of the better prices on house mortgages and food supplies.

I totally agree with you Lady Hamlet. Living in Texas will surely be worthwhile for someone who wants to have a better living. Texas is full of opportunities and it is considered as one of the richest and safest states in the US. In fact, it is well chosen for retirement. It offers great deal for those who want to purchase real estate. I myself look forward to living there.

I know a lot of Filipinos continue to thrive there in Texas. I think the state did not really feel the global recession that plagued most of the United States. That's probably because its local government knows how to find opportunities in every crisis. The cost of living is not that high and the job opportunities speak of its bustling economy.

Perhaps, other states can learn from Texas to get out of recession.

As far as I know, the cost of living in Texas is pretty cheap. There are a variety of options for buying real estate in there as well. It is also not very hard to find a good job opportunity in Texas. In fact, my grandparents chose to live there for their retirement, because they are convinced that they can live there with low cost. They are really enjoying their stay there.

I have linked to a web page stating statistics about the cost of living in Texas plus other related articles. Is that true that there are no income taxes in Texas?

If the cost of living in Texas is really that affordable, I hope that someday, if ever I migrate to the US with my family, I would like to stay in Texas.

Though it is important to know the cost of living in a place, it is equally important to know whether there are plenty of opportunities for employment or business in the area. If the latter information is in the positive side, then it would be a great consideration for relocation into that place.

Texas indeed is such a lovely place to be. And no wonder why so many people are actually trying to move there.

And with the fact that it is not easy to just move places, thanks to the current financial instability we are having. It is important that we do make it a point to know about the cost of living in the destination we are thinking of. And I wonder about the cost of living in Texas.
