| I for one, is a freelance worker on line. I do web design, creative writing and the like. I consider this an opportunity that is not really given to anyone. What I like about Freelance programs is that they just don't enhance the skills and potential of the writers but they also pay the hard work of their writers. | I wonder what the difference is between what a freelance writer can make compared to what a different kind of freelance writer makes. For example, rates are considerably lower for writing online than for writing a web site, but the time spent on writing is considerably less. So I wonder how big the difference is if you put both up against each other in comparable terms. Does anyone have an idea? |

| I think what marynor says is true here, and probably the only way to actually be successful as a freelancer, at least solely as a freelancer without supplementing your income with another form of employment. You have to produce stellar work otherwise your clients will move on and you will continually have to find new clients and convince them of your worth only to have them also move on because you are not worth it. |
| What is the deal with having freelancer work in one city or state? Isn't the point of freelance work to be able to do it any where you want, and from any state? Or is that just online freelance work. I have not got much into this myself, as I prefer having a steady job, but I have been thinking about it from time to time, as a way of getting a little extra cash. |
