| Reducing environmental impact is now the biggest challenge that not only the transportation industry but all industries all over the world are facing. There is a serious need for us to reduce our carbon footprint to curb global warming and still have an inhabitable world in the next few years. The transportation system still has a long way to go as far as implementing green transport is concerned but it's good to know that there are already a number of green vehicles around. Hopefully, there will be more in the coming months. |
| It is quite challenging to improve the transportation system in most countries due to the unstoppable increase of population and vehicles in various cities. I think the authorities should implement proper policies which will bring the transportation system to operate accordingly. So no wonder why transportation is a big topic in Washington because they truly need a reform on it. If they can do it, surely more foreigners will come over the place. |

| There is a constant need for any country to upgrade its transportation system to go with the times. Having a smart transportation system eases traffic congestion and encourages tourists to go there because they believe that they will easily find their way around. I'm off to Washington towards the middle of this year and will get a feel of this so-called smart transportation system that it is supposed to have. |

| It is interesting to hear that Washington has one of the best transportation systems in the US, especially from someone who seems to take public transportation so seriously. I do believe that places like New York, Boston, Chicago have much better transportation systems than DC, which seems to rely more on cabs than those other cities. However, I do expect the transport to improve greatly in the capital. |
